About the Role

Sales Progressor – Floating / Cover Role
Remote / Hybrid / Office-Based
West Yorkshire base
Salary: £25,235 basic
OTE: up to £27,500
Job Type: Full-time, permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing property business for a Sales Progressor to join their busy, high-performing sales progression team in a permanent floating / cover capacity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in property, estate agency, mortgages, conveyancing, or a related customer-focused property role who enjoys keeping transactions moving, supporting colleagues, and delivering a great client experience.

Unlike a standard Sales Progressor role, this position will not involve managing your own permanent caseload. Instead, you will provide flexible support across the wider sales progression function, covering team members during holidays, sickness, absences, and busy periods. You will play a key role in ensuring service levels remain consistent and transactions continue to progress smoothly across the business.

The role would suit someone who is highly adaptable, organised, confident picking up different files quickly, and comfortable working across multiple teams, systems, and transaction stages.

The role

As Floating Sales Progressor, you will support the wider sales progression team by stepping in wherever cover is required. You will help manage property transactions from agreed sale through to completion, liaising with all parties involved and ensuring momentum is maintained.

This is a fast-paced, highly customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to quickly understand the status of different cases. You will be a reliable support to the team, helping to reduce pressure during absences and ensuring clients, agents, solicitors, brokers, buyers, and sellers continue to receive a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

Provide floating support across the sales progression team during holidays, sickness, absences, and busy periods
Pick up and manage existing property transactions as required
Liaise with buyers, sellers, solicitors, brokers, agents, and internal colleagues
Keep all parties updated throughout the transaction process
Review case notes, CRM records, and spreadsheets to quickly understand transaction status
Proactively follow up on outstanding actions, delays, and fall-through risks
Support colleagues in maintaining momentum across active sales pipelines
Ensure accurate records are maintained across CRM systems and spreadsheets
Work in line with agreed processes, service standards, and completion targets
Provide flexible support across teams where business needs require
Deliver a professional, calm, and helpful client experience at all times

What we’re looking for

We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in areas such as:

Sales progression
Estate agency
Mortgage administration or coordination
Conveyancing / solicitor support
Property administration
Other property-related roles with transferable progression experience

Candidates will ideally have:

Previous experience in the property sector
Strong customer service and communication skills
The ability to pick up existing cases quickly and confidently
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Confidence managing a varied workload in a fast-moving environment
Good IT skills, including experience using CRMs, spreadsheets, and internal systems
A resilient, adaptable, and team-focused approach
The ability to follow defined processes while using initiative where needed
Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders
A calm and professional manner under pressure

Estate agency backgrounds are particularly of interest, although applicants from other property disciplines will also be considered.

Because this is a floating cover role, the successful candidate must be comfortable stepping into different caseloads, supporting different colleagues, and adapting quickly to changing priorities. This would suit someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being a dependable support across the wider team.

For remote roles, previous home-working experience would be helpful. Candidates without remote experience may still be considered if they are open to attending the office for training and ongoing support where needed.

Working arrangement

Remote, hybrid, or office-based options available
Office located in West Yorkshire
A large proportion of the current team works remotely across the UK
Hybrid working is available for those who would benefit from additional in-person support
Occasional travel to the office may be required for training, meetings, or company events

Salary and benefits

Basic salary: £25,235
OTE: up to £27,500
Commission paid per completion
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
Employee Assistance Programme from day one
Sick pay entitlement
Paid lunch for office-based staff
Dog-friendly office
Regular company events and team socials
Travel and hotel costs covered for remote staff attending office events
Free parking available

About the team

This is a supportive, close-knit business with a positive culture and strong employee engagement. There is a real emphasis on collaboration, communication, and helping people succeed, particularly in a remote environment.

The business runs regular team meetings and wider company updates to keep everyone connected, supported, and aligned. As a floating Sales Progressor, you will play an important part in supporting that collaborative culture by providing reliable cover and helping the wider team maintain strong service levels.

Recruitment process

Initial CV review and phone screening
First-stage interview via Teams or in person
Possible second-stage interview / task-based assessment if required

The interview process is thorough and designed to ensure the right long-term fit for both the individual and the business.
