Within five working days of that session, you receive a written summary of findings and a proposed scope of work. Specific, costed and time-bound. Not open-ended. You decide whether to proceed and if you do, you know exactly what you are committing to and what you will get from it.
For retained clients, Paul produces a monthly progress report covering what was worked on, what changed and what the focus is for the following month. No ambiguity about whether the engagement is delivering.
