Business Development Representative

Location: Oxford Circus, London
Salary: From £25,000 basic
OTE: Circa £55,000
Working pattern: Predominantly office-based

We’re recruiting for a fast-growing, venture-backed property business that is changing the way residential lettings is delivered.

This is an entry-level business development opportunity for someone who understands the lettings market and wants to build a proper sales career.

You won’t be conducting valuations, viewings or managing a branch. Your focus will be speaking with landlords, qualifying opportunities, explaining the company’s services and converting conversations into new business.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Speaking with landlords and prospective customers

• Handling inbound and generated opportunities

• Making high volumes of outbound calls

• Qualifying landlord requirements

• Explaining the company’s lettings and property management services

• Following up leads consistently

• Overcoming objections

• Working towards individual activity and conversion targets

• Building your understanding of lettings legislation and landlord requirements

• Developing your skills towards more senior business development roles

You’ll need a good basic understanding of how residential lettings works, but you don’t need years of management experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the sales side of property and wants to move into a role where business development is the main focus.

There is a clear progression route through Business Development Executive, BDM and Senior BDM level.
