Associate Sales Director

Location: Headington, Oxford
Working pattern: Office-based with occasional remote working
Salary: £45,000 basic salary, guaranteed for the first 6 months, plus 15% commission on all banked income

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a motivated and commercially driven Associate Sales Director to join their growing property team in Oxford.

This is a highly sales-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships, generating new business and converting opportunities into successful instructions. The position offers a strong basic salary, an attractive commission structure and genuine scope for progression as the department continues to expand.

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, proactive and confident in creating their own opportunities within a competitive property market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development activity across the local market, including door knocking, networking, telephone outreach and client meetings.

  • Generate new instructions and build a strong pipeline of prospective vendors and clients.

  • Conduct property valuations and support viewings in collaboration with the wider office team.

  • Manage the sales process from initial client engagement through to successful completion.

  • Support and progress sales transactions externally, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, landlords, vendors and local contacts.

  • Actively contribute to the continued growth of the Oxford office by identifying new business opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate will be energetic, resilient and highly motivated by sales success. You will be comfortable picking up the phone, approaching new clients and working proactively to build your own network.

You will also bring:

  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with the confidence to generate new business.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

  • The drive and resilience to succeed in an outbound, sales-led role.

  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating with a wider team.

  • A full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport.

  • Flexibility to work from the Headington office, with occasional remote working where appropriate.

Previous experience in property, estate agency, sales or a related commercial environment would be advantageous, but is not essential for the right person.
