Salary: £27,000–£29,000 basic salary

The Opportunity
We are working with a leading Oxfordshire estate agency to recruit a Property Manager for their North Oxford office. The same opportunity is also available in their Headington and Park End offices.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, supportive and highly regarded property business offering sales, lettings and property management services across Oxfordshire. All property management is handled in-house, giving the team strong ownership of their portfolios and the ability to build long-term relationships with landlords, tenants and colleagues.
As Property Manager, you will manage a portfolio of approximately 100–140 properties. You will be trusted to run your portfolio in line with internal processes, with the right level of guidance and support depending on your experience.
The role offers a good balance of office-based administration, property visits and external appointments.
Key Responsibilities
As Property Manager, you will be responsible for:

Acting as the first point of contact for landlords and tenants

Preparing and checking properties ahead of new tenancies

Instructing and liaising with appropriate contractors

Conducting check-ins, checkouts and property inspections

Completing administration following property visits and appointments

Ensuring rents are paid on time

Responding to and managing maintenance issues

Working closely with internal teams and specialist divisions
-
Ensuring your portfolio remains compliant with current legislation

Managing your own diary while supporting the wider team

Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities

Advising clients and referring property upgrades to relevant internal teams
About You
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and comfortable managing a busy workload. You will enjoy working with people, solving problems and taking ownership of your portfolio.
You will ideally have:

At least 2 years’ customer service experience

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-
Good attention to detail
-
A good standard of spelling and grammar
-
The ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities efficiently

A positive, can-do attitude
-
A team-focused approach
-
A willingness to learn, improve and take feedback
-
A full, clean manual driving licence
Previous estate agency or property management experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
Training and Development
The business provides a strong training platform for every new team member. Property Managers are supported to complete the industry-recognised Propertymark/ARLA qualification, usually within the first 12–18 months of joining. Ongoing professional membership is also paid for by the company.
There are clear opportunities for progression, internal promotion and continued development.
Hours and Working Pattern

Monday to Thursday: 8.30am–5.30pm

Friday: 8.30am–4.00pm
-
60-minute unpaid lunch break each day
-
Saturdays: 1 in 3, 9.00am–12.00pm, with overtime or time off in lieu
You will also be required to take part in an on-call rota, approximately 1 week in 6. For each week on call, you will receive either 5 hours’ overtime payment or 1 day of time off in lieu.
