About the Role
Head of Lettings / Lettings Manager
Richmond
Location: Richmond
Salary: c.£30,000–£36,000 basic, depending on experience
OTE: c.£70,000–£75,000
Car: £420 per month car allowance or electric company car option
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm; alternate Saturdays, 9:00am–2:00pm with a full day off in lieu
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays and birthday off
Start: ASAP
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Lettings Manager, Assistant Lettings Manager or strong Lettings Valuer to take ownership of a prime Richmond lettings office.
This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to make a visible impact quickly. Richmond is an excellent market with strong local stock, a high-quality client base and significant room for growth. The office has not yet reached its full potential, so the successful candidate will have a real opportunity to come in, build momentum and drive performance forward.
You will be the key valuer for the office, responsible for winning new instructions, growing managed units and improving lettings performance, while maintaining a high standard of service for landlords and applicants.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the lead valuer for the Richmond lettings office

Generate, attend and convert market appraisals

Win new instructions and grow managed stock

Drive new business deal value, move-ins and renewal/continuation income

Build strong relationships with landlords and local clients

Work closely with the branch negotiator and neighbouring office teams

Collaborate with client services, tenancy teams and property management

Ensure high standards of compliance, communication and customer service

Bring consistency, structure and commercial focus to the office

Identify opportunities to increase market share across the local area
About You
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, commercially minded lettings professional who is confident generating business and leading from the front.
You will need to be someone who can combine strong new business skills with excellent client care. This is not a role for someone who wants to be spoon-fed leads; it needs someone who understands how to create opportunity, convert landlords and deliver a professional service.
Requirements

Previous lettings experience at Senior Negotiator, Assistant Manager, Lettings Manager or Senior Lettings Manager level

Strong valuation and instruction-winning experience

Proven ability to generate new business

Good understanding of managed units, renewals and landlord retention

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Stable career history and a consistent approach

ARLA / Propertymark qualification preferred

Full UK driving licence
